That's beautiful!!! I love the colors – the red is so vibrant, and the color of the sea is gorgeous!

thanks! the red is actually just the tube colour - naphthol red. it is a pretty nice shade, and not one i'd used before i got this tube.

thanks! i'm really happy with how it turned out. sometimes my gouaches can get a bit muddy, but not doing too much mixing seems to have helped there

I love lighthouses and sea scenes and this is lovely! How big is the painting? It looks like it could almost be as small as a stamp!

thanks! it was a very nostalgia-influenced design. the stamp is about 3" x 3" including the border, so not very big, but not actually stamp sized either! i'm not sure i have any brushes small enough for that!

the paper i usually paint on is about 6" x 8", so i suppose it's all relative!
