end of year drive cleaning

in december the completionist in me always rears their head, and i start compulsively going through my works in purgatory, seeing if there's anything near to done that i can bang into shape and throw out into the void. two l.a. confidential fics that have been in-progress for uh - almost a decade? posted in the last two days? yup, it must be december. stay tuned, we'll see what else i can beat into compliance before my motivation slumps.

(i should be working on my subobi week fics, but a couple of them ran in unexpected directions so i have to decide if i want to go down those paths or cut them off and try a different fork.)
