have a bit of pre-barrissoka that is being very stubborn with me:

"I'm older and much more highly trained," Barriss said in a put-on haughty tone, and Ahsoka smiled, leaning into Barriss to bump their shoulders together. While Barriss was teasing, it was true that she was a couple years older than Ahsoka, and had started her training as a Padawan before the war, letting her concentrate more on things like rhetoric and diplomacy. Barriss bumped their shoulders in return. "I'm glad you came to talk. I - I know I said I don't need an apology. And I don't. But. I'm glad."

"Me too," Ahsoka said, and leaned closer, so their sides rested together. "I miss you, when we're off on different sides of the galaxy."

"I miss you too," Barriss said softly, shifting her hand. She brushed her fingers over Ahsoka's back, and Ahsoka nodded. Permission granted, Barriss looped her arm around Ahsoka's waist.

yes! and of course, in this universe barriss isn't going to be making any egregiously out of character decisions, like blowing things up (side eyes filoni)
